How To Formulate Compelling Vision Statement?

Vision must be in writing

Creating your first vision statement isn’t difficult in terms of writing it per se. It is, however, mental exercise that requires your full attention. It is important, as your mission acts as invisible hand, guiding and leading at the same time while providing purpose for everyone in your team to see and obey.

Purpose adds value and strengthen the WHY

The power of purpose as we mentioned is in attraction factor that it creates. You must persuade and communicate it clearly to ensure that all your ideas, plans, and even employees and investors are contributing to the goals and sights that you set forth for the business.

Let me remind you

First sale is to yourself, YOU must believe it with your whole mind and hearth before you persuade anybody else to do the same. And before you connect the dots and visualise yourself doing it, you must plan it and design it according to your own strict success requirements.

You are not alone in your vision and you should know that greater the number of people it inspires stronger it will become. The stronger the gravity of your Vision is, more followers and evangelists it will attract and more souls will pour in their resources to make it real and successful.

Defining the compelling vision is about clarity, clarity is about focusing

Defining intentions, communicating your VISION, keeping intense issues in mind whether resolved, explored, or alleviated, is the task for the week.

Sometimes it may seems hard to express who we really are, what it is that we stand for, and what intentions we aim for. There are way to many distractions, disruptions, false and real priorities, emergencies, issues out of our controls, interests to be pursued etc. that we are simply not immune to.

With your intentions to conduct business from where it is positioned today to the point of your desired ideal future, the vision and mission play key roles in maintaining the motivation and guidance that you need so much to ensure that you stay firmly committed on the route you plan to follow.

Decision to persevere is easier with the framework

However, if you find it hard to express it with clarity, there is no need to worry, as most of us face this issue at one time or another – especially during the start up phases of building a great venture such as your business. Now you understand the importance of clarity within this issue…

Until the next lesson, make sure to do your best work. Make those around you a bit better through all you do. Make someone smile bigger, and make the ultimate difference. Whether you realize it or see it, your contribution greatly matters and counts.
